Core Values

Christ-Centered: Everything we are, believe, and do is centered around and in response to the person, love, and truth of Jesus Christ.
Authentic Welcome: We welcome every person as their full and authentic self into this community of faith with the hope that all people would discover and be transformed by the grace of Jesus Christ.
Vulnerable and Honest Faith: We welcome, celebrate, and encourage a vulnerable and honest faith journey of every person. We do not discourage the questions or doubts people have in their faith journey. We profess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, but know that faith is a journey and rarely, if ever, a simple one.
Children and Teenagers: As a church community, we care deeply about the stories and well-being of young people. Through missional partnerships and consistent, intentional faith formation opportunities within First Pres, our church is driven to celebrate and enrich the lives of young people.
