Student Ministry

I got married this year to my now-husband, Danny. I also just recently graduated from Eastern University with a degree in Youth Ministry and Biblical Studies. In college, I was on the Ultimate Frisbee team, and in High School, I played basketball. I love dogs, and I am a massive Star Wars fan! It's also important to note that I am a big Eagles and Nick Foles fan, too!

I have felt the call to ministry since High School so I am excited to grow into this position and get to know all of you!

First Pres Student Ministries strives to be a safe space where youth can grow in their faith by creating close relationships with peers and adults who will listen to them, love them, and want to help them get to know and love God. We will strive to create opportunities for students to get involved in leadership positions all around the Church, giving them the chance to live out and share with others the talents and gifts that God has given them.

This is a place for teenagers to BELONG. We exist to provide every teen with the chance to EXPERIENCE God, GROW in their faith, REACH those outside our walls, and create future LEADERS.

BELONG: Having a place to BELONG is essential for teenagers, so we have created a space just for that. Every student that walks through our doors will be known and loved, and know and love others.

EXPERIENCE: We believe that having a relationship with Jesus is essential. We want our students to EXPERIENCE God in order to create their own faith and become transformed.

GROW: Faith is an ongoing journey where learning never stops. We want our students to GROW in their faith, and an important part of that is asking questions. In our ministry, questions will be viewed as a cause for celebration.

REACH: We believe that it is important to show Gods love to others through mission and outreach. In order to do this, we will help our students to engage in their faith outside of our Youth Ministry environments to REACH those outside our walls.

LEADERS: We believe that every student has their own gifts and talents. We will strive to encourage and teach them to share those gifts with others. We will also help prepare our students to be LEADERS by encouraging them to take on leadership roles within the Church.
