WEIRD: Exploring John The Baptist

The Bible is filled with all sorts of people, each as unique as the last. Still, it doesn’t take a scholar to identify that there are some figures in Scripture more odd than others. One such individual is the man known as John the Baptist. This forerunner of Jesus is if we’re honest, just plain weird. And this figure will be the focal point of our next message series beginning November 10. We will explore how the truly unique and unusual life and practice of John the Baptist can not only raise our eyebrows but also increase our ability to understand and follow Jesus Christ.
