Believers' Bay

where children ages 2-5th grade learn about Jesus!
Sundays, 9:45-10:45am
September-May

Believers' Bay builds faith and friendships in ways that are fun and relevant to children.

Through Large Group time, Believers' Bay delivers the Word of God to children by using high drama skits and lessons, upbeat music and engaging group games.  All of these activities are designed to be relevant to the lives of children.  They work together to build faith in young hearts.

Believers' Bay encourages friendships by using Small Groups. Within the Small Groups, children feel safe to share joys and concerns, and participate in discussions about family, faith and friends. The relationships that are formed in the Small Groups are models for the children and their own relationships with Jesus. Each week, Small Group Leaders give each child practical daily challenges and ideas for practicing their faith at home. Parents are encouraged to engage in these activities with their children.
  • Believers' Bay uses Faith Weavers Friends curriculum, published by Group Publishing.

  • All Believers' Bay staff volunteers are well-trained and have been screened for the safety of our children.

  • The church nursery is available for childen under 2.

Believers' Bay is an opportunity for kids to be excited about Jesus.

Believers' Bay is the place to be on Sunday mornings!

Childcare/Nursery

The safety and happiness of our children are the primary concerns of our children's ministry team. Our childcare program is staffed by several regular care givers and volunteers who serve in rotation. The continuity of our regular workers help little ones grow in their trust that the church family has a special place for them and cares about their needs. Using volunteers to support the paid staff allows better adult to child ratios and invites church members to live out vows they make each time a child is baptized in our midst.   Photo: Some playdough fun during a Parent's Night Out.

Childcare is available for both services for those children who have not yet started kindergarten. All children who have started kindergarten and older are welcome and desired in worship. There are worship bags available outside the sanctuary doors for children.
