Jim Bell called the meeting to order. Devotions and the opening
prayer were led by Bob Hunt.
Steve Barwick moved and Steve Miller seconded that we excuse
Jay Reece's absence and Becky Mentzer's request to
be late. Motion carried.
Treasurer's Report: Balance: $43,884.45. Mons Schrantz
moved and Jim Bouas seconded that we accept the treasurer's
report. Motion carried.
Pastor's Report
- The City Hall meeting on November 22
for the vote on the living wage.
- The new sound system should be installed
by November 18.
Clerk's Report:
- There were questions about the salary Rev.
Bell offered to Kelley Marion as stated in the October
27 Session Minutes. Mons Schrantz moved and Steve Barwick
seconded that the minutes should add that
a $_____ Total Package (see Clerk of Session for number) be offered leaving
the decision to Kelley how it should be distributed. Motion carried that
the minutes now be approved.

training on the new computer annual reporting on November
10.

16), Marketing (Oct. 27), Worship did not meet
New Business:
- Session Approval for selling shirts inside the walls
of the church. Terry Tosh moved and Dave Seyller seconded
that the marketing committee be allowed to do this. Motion
carried.
- Jim Bell gave an update on the new addition. He said
even though we may be using
the building before, a grand opening dedication would
probably be planned for March.
- Steve Miller reported
on the status of the Stewardship Drive. So far $455,000 has
been pledged for the $655,000 budget.
- Bob Hunt relayed the invitation by Peacemakers
for session members to attend their Christmas
party at the home of Joan Edgren on Sunday evening, Dec.
19, 6:00 p.m. Bring a white elephant gift. Her address
is 307 E. Chestnut St., Bloomington; phone 828-1392.
Study Session Topic: Describe ways you belong
to this congregation in any of its aspects. Text: The
Search to Belong by Myers. Members worked in small groups.
Rev. Jim asked for joys and concerns and closed
the meeting with prayer.
Next meeting is December 15, 2004, 7:00, with holiday dessert.
