  3. Motion made to reimburse Bob Odman $27.50 for "engraving" plaque for Gifts & Memorials stand
  4. Fall Investment Workshop date was set for Monday, October 11. Mary Lou is working with leader, Jay Reece. Time: 5:30 p.m.. Light supper will be provided.
  5. First Focus articles written by Andy on gifts and memorials to the church have been well received. These will continue once a month.
  6. Reviewed "Wish Lists" for Gifts & Memorials submitted by other committee chairs. It was decided we would work on the price tags for each item at our July 20 meeting. Andy has volunteered to work on a computer format for the Wish List Brochure. This list will not only be available for families wishing to make memorial gifts, but also for church members who want to make "living" gifts of church furnishings and needs. The brochure will be completed by the Stewardship Supper on Sunday, October 17.
  7. Bulletin covers from the Presbyterian Foundation will be used the last Sunday in September (Sept. 26). We need to order size 11 x 17.
  8. Discussion was held on appropriate ways to acknowledge people who make contributions and gifts. Ideas as brick walls, name trees, etc. were reviewed. The committee decided we should stay with the present system of only naming contributors in the book on the stand in the entrance hallway.

Meeting adjourned at 1:45 p.m.
